Mid Life Words

Nothing Under Mid Life
Nothing Under Mid Life

Are you getting this? Mid Life Crisis versus Mid Life Celebration.

These are simply mid life words, but the difference between the two sets of words is as profound as the difference here:

  • Hate and Love
  • War and Peace
  • Terrorist and Missionary
  • Dishonest and Honest
  • Criminal and Saint
  • Death and Life
  • Apathy and Passion
  • Crisis and Celebration

Have I told you lately how much joy it brings to know there are others out there who benefit as much from Mid Life Celebration as I do?

Three days away from New Year’s Eve. Got big plans for 2010?

Five-A-Day Bloggers

Five-a-day bloggers.  How many are there?

So I Googled five-a-day bloggers and got 367,000,000 search results, but nothing on the first page described anyone who actually writes five daily blogs.

Okay, no problem, let’s narrow the search, so I typed – “five-a-day bloggers” – using quotation marks to focus the search.

Click here to see the result.

When was the last time you Googled anything and got only one result?

If you are new to Mid Life Celebration, welcome.  Hope you find this (and the other four daily blogs) a refreshing visit in a cyber-world that is overcrowded with people trying to sell us stuff.

None of the five-a-day blogs I write are selling anything.  Maybe hope and inspiration. But nothing that costs money.

Mind, Body, Spirit, Money

Mind, Body, Spirit, Money.

The big four.

I’m committed to figuring out these four simple concepts, now that I’m into mid-life.

There came a certain mid-life crisis moment, not sure when, that I realized I better start living and quit waiting.

Didn’t want to be guilty of going through the motions, and then finding myself on my deathbed, saying, “I should have”.  Or, “I would have”.  Or even, “I could have”.

Shoulda, woulda, coulda.

Dangerous words. Poisonous words. Deadly words.

You know the antidote, right?

It’s two simple words.  You know this already, right?

I’ll tell you later…….carpe diem, jeff noel  🙂

What the @#%^&*!

“Profanity is the effort of a feeble mind to express itself forcefully”.  —  Unknown

Sorry if this makes you mad as heck.

I used to “swear like a sailor”.

Now, not so much.

Self-control isn’t an idea to dream about at Mid Life, it’s a habit we can, and should, cultivate at Midlife.

It’s entirely up to each one of us, isn’t it.

At least that’s what the %$#k^ I think.
