Today could be a thing

Everyone is going through a hell no one knows about. Growth-mindset doesn’t make you immune, it makes you creative.

Who or woo?

Dusk. Yesterday. Haven’t seen an Owl in months.

The things humans take for granted is staggering.

Joy is part of life. So is suffering.

Procrastination, coupled with ambition, may become unbearable without prevention and intervention.

If i go blind, there’s a lot of stuff i was planning to look at down the road.

Start looking at it now.

Or get rid of it.

Both will help you free yourself from regret.

Post Op Day 28, mind

Apple watch
Awaiting Dr Kumar’s arrival.

Let happy thoughts keep you preoccupied. Your face will thank you.

Four weeks post-op second eye surgery update:

The 8-week gas bubble is nearly 50% absorbed.

In the past four days, i’m starting to see again.

Just a sliver of tree tops and sky (green and blue) on Monday. Called Dr. Kumar’s office and asked his office manager (Maria) to tell him the good news.

Then Tuesday and Wednesday, ever so slightly more visuals.

Yesterday and today (Friday, October 13), nearly half of my field of vision is not blocked by gas.

But yesterday the floaters concerned me. Called Dr Kumar’s office to request an exam two weeks earlier than scheduled to ensure the floaters are ‘normal’.

Post Op Day 21, mind

12-second video: Today. October 6, 2023…8:00 AM.
High Mountain Lake
Jody Maberry texted this photo yesterday. That’s me lower right. Longest hike in 50 years of visits…15 miles. Wondering if future visits will be one-eye or two-eye sighted. Btw, that’s the Continental Divide.

You will excel at world-class customer service when you excel at being a world-class customer.

In sharing the Disney Compass this morning to the office manager, it dawned on me…

When you not only know your customer but understand them, you tee up “surprise and delight”.

Surprise and delight is the bull’s-eye for creating “wow“!

Anyone can create it for anyone.

Why the customer service world hasn’t embedded this as a non-negotiable is beyond my comprehension.
