Life Celebration Ripple Effect

The Life Celebration Ripple Effect. Like Martin Luther King, I, jeff noel, have a dream. And as Gandhi challenged, we must become the change we wish to see in the world.

Let the change start with the elders. Let the male Baby Boomers step up as they begin retiring, to help clean up the world’s mess before they die.

And let the power of The Movement begin to ripple out to Baby Boomer women, Gen X men & women, Gen Y men & women, Millennial men & women, Gen Z too.

But wait, the Life Celebration Ripple Effect goes farther and deeper than anyone imagines.

The Herd & The Movement

Yesterday, the proverbial fork in the road…

  1. One path – The Herd
  2. Other path – The Movement

This is going to be fun as April Fool’s Day approaches. After two solid years of daily Five-a-Day blogging, Mid Life Celebration embarks on a different path. Same destination.

Why Do You Come Here?

Have you noticed that there are people who offer advice, but you don’t really see them cooking it up for themselves? Or their advice is fairly lopsided on one particularly honed skill.

Like a really smart person who’s in dangerous health. Or a very rich, very empty person. Or a saintly person, with a dark side. Or a CEO, with unfulfilled childhood dreams.

I start each day on my knees, and ask for wisdom, guidance, humility, strength, and joy, so that I may, with the most amazing love, try to inspire you to seize today. It’s your gift. Unwrap it and press on.

What’s You Biggest Dream?

Brain Power to Dream
Brain Power to Dream

It’s fun to dream big dreams, isn’t it?

We did this constantly as children, a little less often as adolescents, and even less as teenagers.

Well, maybe we dreamed more as teenagers, but mostly about  sex relationships.

But when did we stop dreaming about flying, or becoming an astronaut, artist, inventor, teacher, parent, Olympic athlete, President, CEO, farmer, race car driver, explorer, adventurer, writer, etc?

When?

When life started to get complicated.

When we can return to simplicity, our dreams will start to flourish again.

How do I know?  Because I’m writing this for you to read.

Mid Life Wednesday

Mid Life Wednesday. Hump day is the traditional term many Americans use to describe the middle day of the work week.

Just get over the hump. Get through Wednesday. Then the weekend will be almost here.

There have been jobs in my life where I felt like that and jobs where I didn’t.

“My formula for living is quite simple. I get up in the morning and I go to bed at night.  In between, I occupy myself as best I can”. Cary Grant

Mid life is sort of like hump day.  We try to get through life as best we can. If we’re careful, we can get to mid life and have a good grasp on who we are and where we’re headed.

However, if you’re like me, you’ll find yourself asking, “Is this all there is? There’s got to be more”.

Whether it’s hump day, Monday, Friday or even the weekend, I promise to live in the moment.  As best I can, I make that promise with good intentions.

What I have discovered, by the way, is that there is so much more than I ever thought was possible.

I’m the CEO of Me, Inc.

Same with you. It’s up to you to feel this way. Mid life is about accepting responsibility for your outcomes and then working very hard to choose the right path for the outcomes you seek.

Carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂
