Raising enough money to find a cure for an incurable disease.

Impossible is nothing.

Thank you for your visits.  There are enormous plans for Mid Life Celebration. This is just the beginning. Together, we can and will help shape the world in a way that teaches young children personal responsibility, beginning in elementary schools.

Mid Life Leadership Paradox?

Leadership Pair-of-Boxes?
Leadership Pair-of-Boxes?

Midlife leadership paradox, or, midlife leadership pair of boxes?

Pete Blank used to work as a Leader at The Walt Disney World Resort. Now, he’s an entrepreneur and Leadership coach and professional speaker.

I subscribe to his blog and wanted to share one that is particularly relevant as we pursue a mid life celebration.  Click here to read.

As we try so desperately to simplify, we apparently have complicated things and actually made them much worse.

Is this possible?

Five-A-Day Bloggers

Five-a-day bloggers.  How many are there?

So I Googled five-a-day bloggers and got 367,000,000 search results, but nothing on the first page described anyone who actually writes five daily blogs.

Okay, no problem, let’s narrow the search, so I typed – “five-a-day bloggers” – using quotation marks to focus the search.

Click here to see the result.

When was the last time you Googled anything and got only one result?

If you are new to Mid Life Celebration, welcome.  Hope you find this (and the other four daily blogs) a refreshing visit in a cyber-world that is overcrowded with people trying to sell us stuff.

None of the five-a-day blogs I write are selling anything.  Maybe hope and inspiration. But nothing that costs money.

Stuck?

Little bit. Maybe it’s the cold. Maybe not. Maybe it’s the time difference. Maybe not. Maybe it’s writer’s block.  Maybe not.

Whatever it is, I’m thankful for it.

What?

Thankful for writer’s block?  As a writer, are you telling me you’re thankful that you can’t write?

Absolutely!

The simple fact of addressing something honestly can be liberating. Plus, the fact that most of the time writing comes easy, well, that inevitably will lead to days where it doesn’t.

So, I’m abundantly thankful for both sides of the coin.  Are you? Make it a great, and thankful, day.  Because if you don’t, who will? If not today, when?  Carpe diem.

Google This!

Happy Monday everyone.  Hope you had a nice weekend, and that your mid-life week ahead is motivating.

I was reflecting on why I started blogging, and I’m still convinced that helping others in Mid Life, to do something great, is still a good and decent thing to do.

So, in blogging, and business, and just about anything really, if people don’t know about your service or product, you become a statistic.

I’ve read that somewhere around 90-95% of ventures that people start disappear after five years.  Meaning, they no longer exist.

Why?

Many reasons to be sure.

Marketing is a big one.

While there is temptation to feel uncomfortable with self-promotion, I believe it must be overcome.

Your vision is completely at risk if people don’t know about it.

So, Google this: Mid Life Celebration.  Being in the top three on a Google search is a VERY good thing.

If you’re on the first page, that’s great, but not as great as the top three.

Now, Google this:  jeff noel.

What’s the point?

The harder you work, the luckier you get.  I’m darn lucky to be number one and number four.

Make it a great day today a great mid-life day, because if you don’t, who will?  If not today, when?  Carpe diem, jeff noel  🙂
