Mental thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving.

Decades ago, started contemplating the notion of making everyday thanksgiving.

And from that mental and spiritual exercise, the idea of ‘celebrating daily’ bled into a long list, with these headliners paving the way for literally everything:

  • Birthday
  • Christmas
  • Easter
  • Independence Day
  • Wedding Day

Pick any of the five, let’s use the first, birthday, in this example…

We have come to know the true meaning of our birthday when we learn to celebrate it every day.

That’s the spirit today’s posts are referencing for “Thanksgiving Day” today.

Your most perfect day

Last night, up on the roof again. Thankful to be fit enough to easily get to the top of the two-story home.

Your most perfect day.

Is it Thanksgiving?

Trick question.

In my head, every day is Thanksgiving.

And every day is the perfect day (to be alive).

And you?

Happy Thanksgiving and Happy New Day are synonymous

Beach themed christmas cards
Yesterday we arrived for few days at the beach.

Happy Thanksgiving and Happy New Day are synonymous.

What?

Yes.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

When each new day is seen as an opportunity to count your blessings, then you are able to enjoy today as you would that one hyped-up American day of the year – Thanksgiving Day.

What stops any of us?

Disney Speakers office
Reminds me how different this office looked a year ago. Photo from my office yesterday.

What stops any of us from living like every day is Thanksgiving?

The media?

Tradition?

What then?

PS. Happy (official) Thanksgiving Day.

Overwhelmed with gratitude?

Delivering Food For Families
Yesterday was the 16th year of this Thanksgiving morning tradition.

Delivering Food For Families
After receiving the addresses for which you will deliver to, you pull up to load two boxes per family.

Delivering Food For Families
Like many other marketing campaigns, it’s difficult to reach enough people.

Overwhelmed with gratitude?

How can anyone not be?

Official American holidays like yesterday’s Thanksgiving Day are great reminders to be thankful for all that we have.

And then my brain wonders (and wanders) and i quietly ponder this, “Why do we need official, National reminders?”
