If ever there was a logical goal in life, perhaps this one should be near the top.
Simple.
Elusive.
Impossible?
Do you often feel overwhelmed? Me too.
And if you don’t, you’re either brilliant or clueless – I’m guessing anyway.
Human tendency is to complicate things. More is better. Keeping up with what others have or do. Newer. Bigger.
Here’s how I alleviate, not eliminate, the stress of our daily burdens:
“God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”
Simple. Wise. Powerful.
But there is a complexity we must break through in order to get to simplicity.
And it may take us a lifetime.

OK, good morning world. How do you start your day? Same way every time, or each day different?
Is it a chore? Are you anxious or worried about all that will be expected of you?
Is it exciting? An adventure in which you get to help others by what you do?
Each morning begins the same for me. On my knees, three prayers. Kiss my wife and son as they sleep. Turn on all the computers. Head downstairs to make some coffee.
While coffee is brewing, head back upstairs to check emails on two computers.
Google alerts come in every day around a few key words.
The point is this, in case you haven’t figured this out yet: An idea virus (credit to Seth Godin) is something good that spreads because of the Internet.
It spreads much faster, and much farther, than without the Internet.
You get this right? It’s common sense but not common…..
PS. Never asked them to post this on the company’s Facebook page. They did it anyway. Seems it was a good idea that spread.

We all dream don’t we? When does dreaming big ever get old?
Big goals and big dreams are a daily thought process for me.
Big goals require a ton of work, which is why some big dreams have eluded me all my life.
What are your big dreams this year?
Do you have the indomitable will to do the things you’ve never done before?
Ever think about what it must have been like for our forefathers to tame this land we call America, or any land for that matter?
To tame it.
To make it work for them instead of being an overwhelming obstacle.
My big dream is to help others find their indomitable will. Have been working very hard at this for a long time.
Have you ever worked really hard at something, for a really long time, and started to think that it’s wasn’t worth all the effort?
I thought so. And when I get frustrated, my thoughts automatically turn to the hardships, and indomitable will of our forefathers:
