We miss 100% of the shots we don’t take. And it’s a mystery why we don’t take more shots.

 

The biggest lesson we teach others is simply the daily routine we lead.

Facebook is filled with inspirational quotes.

Our lives should be a reflection of our aspirations. No?

And we could even go as far as saying it’s littered with inspiration.

And a simple question screams to be asked:

What are we actually doing as a result of reading this daily inspiration to change ourselves?

So much aspiration.

So few results.

Why?

Our models are our parents.  And for boys, this is primarily the Father. And if the Father is absent, well, the Father is still the model.

And even when the Father is present, he might still be absent.  This makes a compelling case for being a great Father.  BFO, right?

And yet, I don’t really recall when my Dad actually sat me down to teach me important stuff.

Maybe Maxine is full of misguided notions.  Maybe she’s right on target. This confuses me, scares me, and motivates me.  What about you?
