Pushy at Mid Life?

What a GREAT day to be alive!

Hey, thanks for reading Mid Life Celebration.  Your time is very important to you.

Heck, mine is too.

And I devote a fair piece of it to Mid Life Celebration.

Why?

Because it makes me feel like I’m helping some of you mid-life folks find a home where you can come to for a gentle push or pull.

Finding people who care is a challenge.  Sometimes, that’s all that’s missing.  We just need someone to tell us not to give up.  Someone to tell us there is work to be done and we ought to do our fair share.

Someone to remind us that although we may feel like in this world, we are just one person, to another person, we may just be the world to them.

We all know what should be done.  But the hard part is actually doing it.

I’ve always liked people who pushed me to be a better person.

Hope you like those kinds of people too.  There aren’t too many of them, but they’re out there.

Carpe diem, jeff noel  🙂

Mid Life Tuesday?

Mid Life Tuesday?  Seems so.

Here’s a thought to get us going:

“The greatness of a nation and it’s moral progress can be judged by the way it’s animals are treated”.  — Ghandi

My goal in life is to become the kind of person my Dog thinks I am.  For real!

So, it’s an incredible wake up call everyday, when I’m filled with choices, to try and find the courage, strength and especially wisdom, to know what to do and when to do it.

I hope I can make my Dog even prouder than he already is.

Make it a GREAT midlife Tuesday, because if you don’t, who will?  If not today, when?  Carpe diem, jeff 🙂

PS.  Nice entry today at Lane 8.org

Most Beautiful Mid-Life Compensation?

It is one of the most beautiful compensations of life that no man can sincerely try to help another without helping himself“. — Ralph Waldo Emerson

There isn’t much more a person can say after that, except maybe, “Please read it again“.

Make today a great mid-life day to help someone.  Carpe diem, jeff 🙂

More Goodness?

More?  Goodness?  More Goodness?

Mid Life Goodness?  Indeed.

At mid-life, shouldn’t we be on our way to making the world a better place?

Look, I’m an optimist.   That doesn’t make me a bad person, anymore than someone who’s not an optimist. Different strokes for different folks.  Fair enough?

How does one acquire mid-life wisdom in order to want to think about mid-life goodness all the time?

I don’t know exactly.   We might at least agree that we will all do this, or not do this, in our own unique way, on our own time schedules.

Here’s a tactic I use to practice courage.  And, I believe courage is a critical success factor.

He who asks a question is a fool for five minutes;  he who does not ask the question remains a fool forever“.   — Chinese Proverb

I love how quotes like this make me think at a different, and perhaps obvious, level.  Hope your day is filled with courage and great thinking.  Carpe diem, jeff 🙂

How long can I keep it up?

How long can any of us keep it up?

How long can I continue to write five blogs a day?

I don’t know? Do you? Wanna guess?

One thing I do know for sure, and this should not surprise anyone – I won’t know until I really try.

What type of person do you want to be? One that tries or one that doesn’t?

Whatever your choice, all the best to you and I wish you Mid-Life blessings beyond measure. Carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂
