Mid Life Crisis Isn’t Really

A mid life crisis isn’t really a crisis at mid life.  It’s simply an opportunity to:

  1. Re-THINK
  2. Re-PRIORITIZE
  3. Re-COMMIT

Common sense, isn’t it?  Pretty simple actually.

Be careful though.  Simple does not mean easy.  Carpe diem. 🙂

Mid Life Fanatic

Mid Life Fanatic. Why yes, yes I am.

Why wouldn’t anyone want to be a mid life fanatic? Actually, why wouldn’t anyone want to be fanatical about life? Period.

Fanatical. Defined as excessive enthusiasm.

Enthusiasm is just another word for attitude. Attitude is up to you. No one else. Period.

We get one chance to have enthusiasm. It’s the time between our birth and our death.

Ya with me?  Seriously.  Are you with me?  Carpe diem 🙂

World Championship Mid Life

Whether mid-life celebration or mid-life crisis, what would it take to be world class?

Not sure exactly.

Perhaps, it’s as simple as just being consciously aware of the fact that none of us will live forever.

We all know the truth subconsciously, don’t we? How can we not?

Want another truth? We can truly begin to live when we have achieved a heightened consciousness of the truth.

I guess that’s what it would take to have a world-class mid-life celebration.

At least that’s been my experience.

Mid Life in Finland?

Mid Life in Finland?

Yes.  Arrived yesterday.

Woke at 5AM local time, after a good eight hours of restful sleep.

Today is a brand new day. Of course, being at the Master’s World Championships is a huge jolt to my mid-life psychological stimulation.

I mean, who would have every thought? Me. World Championships?

What I try to do, and what I have already done, is stay motivated to live a Mid Life Celebration, so my wife and young son can see that Mid-Life is a blessing to be looked forward to.

Not some curse of mid-life crisis.

Make it a GREAT day, because if you don’t, who will?  If not today, when?

Carpe diem, from Lahti, Finland.  jeff noel  🙂
