What makes these two diverse groups so unique is their combination of skills and attitudes:

Smart enough to be concerned
Thoughtful enough to care
Dedicated enough to be the change

Mid Life Celebration is dedicated to making the world a better place, by challenging the top 3% of male Baby Boomers to do something GREAT before they die.

And the indomitable will of any person, any age, any generation, to also help make the world a better place for future generations.

Want The New Buzz?

The new buzz isn’t from a can or a bottle.

The new buzz is from a ready and willing heart.

The long way is the short cut.

Baby Boomers and Gen X-er’s have the greatest opportunity to be a catalyst for positive change.

Old habits are hard to break and almost never broken.

As the saying goes, “Put up or shut up.”

The world needs role models who do more than talk about what needs to be done.

Are you that kind of person?

Are you a thermometer or a thermostat?

What Happens Next?

How often do we spend time taking a moment looking ahead?

Not talking about mid-morning, trying to decide where to go for lunch and with whom, even though that can qualify as an important decision.

Rather, looking ahead ten years.

What?

It’s hard isn’t it? That’s why we rarely, if ever, give it considerable thought.

Considerable thought.

Substantial thought.

The long and hard discussion with ourselves about our future.

It’s like reaching the top of Maslow’s pyramid.

I’ll be spending several precious days with a couple of 80-somethings. Wonder what we’ll talk about.

Mid Life Rebirth?

Do you like Springtime? Perhaps it’s the joy of the warmer weather. Or all the flowering trees.

Or maybe it’s gentle, passing thoughts of rebirth.

Everywhere you look, nature’s wintery dormancy is giving way to rebirth. Nature reminds us that there are cycles in life. But these glorious reminders come and go fairly quickly. And we forget them.

In my monthly travels, it’s easy to see rebirth happening everywhere, like here in Albuquerque the past two days.

But it’s harder, if not invisible, to see rebirth happening in people, particularly those experiencing midlife.

And I can’t figure out why. Do you know why?
