Photo Opp

family of three by American Flag
Returning to airport to fly back for finals week.

Photo opportunities are constant.

Why?

Because we carry our camera everywhere, every day.

In the two days our son was home, we didn’t take a single ‘group’ photo.

Gratitude feeds on observation.

Remember?

The World is set to reopen

Yesterday, bicycling to keep a clear and positive mind.

The World is set to reopen.

The entire world, not just Walt Disney World.

As of this week (April 20-24, 2020) each State Governor is empowered by the President to make reopening decisions based on their judgment, for their particular situation.

For example, Florida reopened beaches yesterday.

‘Twas the night before Christmas

Yesterday on Sanibel Island.

‘Twas the night before Christmas.

First time on an island on Christmas Eve.

Unusual circumstances aligned to place us here.

Perhaps one of the biggest gifts was unwrapped yesterday morning.

How the Universe could orchestrate such a wonderful gift is miraculous.

Up to this point in the explanation, i’ve been focused on the first miracle, but there’s a second miracle that coincides with today, Christmas Eve.

When 99% is not enough

The Garmin Satellite GPS device reads 9,156′ above sea level. With no internet connection in one-million acres, best to be prepared. Can send an SOS signal. Device also tracks your coordinates for others to locate. This device speaks of 100% commitment. In 2020 a climbing helmet ups the commitment.

When 99% is not enough?

When you’re looking for commitment.

The higher the stakes, the more non-negotiable commitment becomes.

You’re joking, right?

Deleting cookies, history, and cache was a hopeful attempt to rid the 421 Misdirected request error messages.

Didn’t work.

Before we did the migration and added the SSL certificates, everything worked flawlessly.

Now it’s a disaster, when not in private browsing mode. i haven’t used private browsing in the 10 years as a MacBook owner.

Now, it’s the only way i can write.

Not joking.
