Mastery, especially self proclaimed mastery, is a tricky thing.
Why?
Because it’s subjective.
Why?
Because it’s art. Mastery, we could say, is in the eye of the beholder. Just like art.
i believe mastery is achieved through effort, compounding over time, and the magic of doubling.
Most people do not aim to master something.
Mastery happens from following an unknown path for a lifetime. A combination of ignorance, grit, and luck.
At some point if you’re lucky, you recognize your space in our Universe. You realize you love your space and you feel you are born to do it.
This is when Magic (and Mastery) has the greatest survival rate.
