Midlife is a perfect time to fire up our sense of urgency and here’s why

whatever we want to happen will only happen if we go
whatever we want to happen will only happen if we go

ReThink – RePrioritize – ReCommit

ReThink – RePrioritize – ReCommit

1. Life is good.

2. And life is hard.

Use the second one to find the first. Through hardship discover the good.

I personally guarantee this video will enable you to ReThink. Right here, right now.

Inspiring tombstone message
Life is not a dress rehearsal… live like we mean it.

conformity
conformity and obedience have served the United States for 200 years

Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think. – Albert Einstein

To me, our midlife crisis is positive proof that education failed to teach us what’s most important in life – to think for ourselves – to trust our gut.

There is often very little room in our lives to simply do this

having fun at Apple
try to have as much fun making and keeping promises as you can

tech savvy Boomers
A dad promised his son he (the dad) wouldn’t become a digital neanderthal

There is often very little room in our lives to simply do this:

Live fully present, consciously aware of everything, and yet relaxed, in enjoyment, in spite of the chaos of daily life.

Living in the moment requires focus and emotion. We been trained to focus on the work before us. But it’s the emotional part that gets left behind in our daily race to do everything for everybody.
