Writer’s flood is a blessing and a curse

Writer’s flood is a blessing and a curse. But mostly a blessing.

Rarely, like today, is it a curse.

  1. Still have a million observations from the Labor Day fraternity reunion in the North Carolina mountains.
  2. Heading ‘home’ to Spring Grove, Pennsylvania tomorrow to see family.

Our lives are never likely to become un-busy.

Humans have an uncanny ability to find a way to fill time. This includes tv, Facebook, reading, visiting others, etc.

The Gibmore deck pictured above.

The name is made up but not the vibe.

Who says we can’t make stuff up and have it be as good as anything (maybe better) out there.

Where do you start when you don’t know where to start?

While a question like this normally leads us down a path marked confusion, this is anything but.

Okay, think mildly transformational opportunity.

Start in Orlando. Fly to Charlotte. Drive to a mountaintop near Asheville.

The view upon the mountaintop arrival is where the real, ‘where-do-we-start’ question begins… at the…
