Getting Mid Life Celebration in the hands of as many people as possible is worth forgoing any profit. Profit is not the goal.

Will lowering the paperback and Kindle price change things? Three weeks ago began the process of lowering the price. It may take another three weeks before we see it on Amazon.

Lowering the list price from $19.99 to 10.99 has been approved. Amazon then uses an algorithm to create a standard discount.

Still waiting on the Kindle price reduction from $9.99 to somewhere between $1.99 and $3.99. Amazon also discounts Kindle prices.

Nothing venture, nothing gained.

What’s the worst that could happen?

Twitter profile snapshot
This morning’s Twitter stats, January 18, 2015.

What’s the worst that could happen?

Willing to try new things?

Willing to do it all the time?

Willing to occasionally push the boundaries?

What if you were?

The conversation yesterday had no deadline. But it did rely on a 14-year old’s courage to start an adult conversation. He didn’t initiate it, circumstances did.

Conferences are also a great place to teach. “Ever thought about that?”, he said to himself.

“The important work of reshuffling our life’s priorities should not wait to be done until our conditions are perfect”, he also said to himself.

Flying home from Portland, Oregon yesterday, September 11, there was a heightened awareness of change.

Not from the horrific tragedy in 2001.

Rather the keen sense of the drastic, impending change brought on by another dramatic moment in the near future.

Retirement.
