About every three years i’m tempted to skip a day of blogging

The good news? It was a 10-mile drive to work from home. Beats an all day air-travel day.

 

About every three years i’m tempted to skip a day of blogging. Today was one of those days. While it’s only 8:30pm (yes, pm), i’m running on fumes.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good tired.

Yet, i’d love to close my eyes, right now, until morning.

This was the final name tag i wore at Disney.

 

Preparing for tomorrow’s two-day leadership training session.

It is my fifth and final contract of 2015.

While i won’t be wearing the name tag (above) any longer, i am planing to create a similar one.

Why?

Because not wearing a name tag with my first name on it feels inappropriate. It feels like i’m not “Show ready”. Like i’m not wearing my super power ring.

Last night was the annual Christmas Tree lighting on Plant Street.We sat outside, middle left are two sidewalk tables.

 

Lunch in a small town, on a breezy and sunny Florida afternoon. We ate. We talked. i just wanted to personally have some face to face time to say how grateful i am for her support. Joyce has done Mid Life Celebration, LLC’s taxes for four of it’s six years. And it took six years to make the first dime, and it took seven to make a profit.

Not many last seven years to see this finally happen.

On a side note, it will take two more years to pay off the debt incurred.

Being authentic could be addicting

After 25 years, the ground breaking yesterday, we are finally getting next door neighbors. i texted our future neighbors to share my excitement with them.

 

Being authentic could be addicting.

Why?

Because you never have to think about what you said or did. You are always leading with admirable behavior.

Or, as our Son recently said, “You come across as a goody two-shoes”. By the way, he said that immediately after reading the email reply (a promised agreement with John Jolin) i sent to John Jolin in an effort to take the high road and not get caught up in the negative press that has proliferated in the past few years.

i feel exceptionally healthy and well by always taking the high road. It does kinda feel addicting. Like sunny weather.
