Bob’s leadership as CEO since 2005 is remarkable and admirable.

Thank you Bob Iger.

Every Disney fan, including Cast Members, are indebted to you for your quiet, creative genius.

Every Disney share holder who is selling their shares this month are also indebted. Disney stock is up 38% in the last 12 months.

What does that have to do with anything?

It’s crazy and wonderful. No one saw 35+% in such a short time coming. Disney shareholders who are selling this month are ecstatic. If you’re not a shareholder, and, not selling, this means nothing to you. Essentially, you do not care about any of this.

These blogs are finishing their 11 consecutive year. No one saw this coming either. If you are a casual reader, it’s crazy to think about the 4,000 days writing five a day – 20,000 posts. Essentially, you do not care about any of this either.

If you consistently read these posts (like i do every day) because it does something for you, i appreciate your craziness. You certainly have to be as crazy as the author.

Five a day, every day, for the past 11 years.

Insane on every account.

Thank you for your craziness.

It’s inspiring.

PS. If these two or so daily hours were taken away, i’d feel punished and incomplete.

Ever feel a simple thank you isn’t good enough?

To mitigate that, have told Lorie 235 times how important her posts are to Mid Life Celebration.

Why 235 times?

Well, because Lorie Sheffer has been Guest posting at Mid Life Celebration for 235 weekends in a row.

That’s 4.5 years.

Every. Single. Saturday.

Asked Lorie to take a breather because, more than anything, absence makes the heart grow fonder.

The thought of Lorie not being here is painful.

She brings a wisdom, a caring, insights, compassion, humor, a woman’s thinking and most of all, an authenticity that is unmatched.

Authenticity is the new currency. We cherish it in others.

We long for it ourselves.

Thank you Lorie. For the 236th time. 🙂

Boundarylessness Thanks

Read this carefully, Boundary-less-ness.

Pretty cool. Saw it engraved on a trophy at somebody’s desk a few days ago.

Clever, isn’t it, to engrave it on a bronze plate and put it on a trophy? No boundaries. No limits. Nice reminder.

However, it doesn’t seem worth the effort to try something without limits, simply because it’s probably, if not entirely, impossible.

Why waste time on something that can’t be done?

But thankfulness, now that’s a completely different story. Anyone can give thanks. For anything.

There is never a point where we can’t go farther with our thankfulness. Ever. If you challenge this, I’ll challenge you. You see, every day you wake and try to tell me I’m wrong, is one more thing you can be thankful for – breathe in your nostrils and the ability to make a choice.
