Two days ago recording If Disney Ran Your Life from the home office.

Yesterday’s lists were longer than i wanted. Today’s list is the summary, the big picture.

Choosing my thoughts.

What can only you do mentally?

Be the brightest light.

What do you need mentally that only you can do?

  • Enthusiasm
  • Be an example, not a warning
  • Choose my thoughts, and choose my…
  • Friends
  • Media
  • Choices
  • Reactions
  • Standards
  • Mindset
  • Hopes

Mental attitude is about the structure and process we put into our thoughts. What we say yes to and what we say no to.

What are you looking at?

Two friendlies looking at other friendlies.

What are you looking at?

Me?

The good stuff.

The positivity, the goodness, the opportunities.

That’s what i’m looking at.

It’s cool.

i like it.

Never gets old.

Three underrated personal assets

This photo would have never happened had i not started my own business – to help people and organizations do their scariest, most important work.

Three underrated personal assets:

  • Time
  • Discipline
  • Focus

My life has been on an upward spiral since 1999, when i was promoted to Disney Institute.

To teach is to learn twice.

i learned to be intentional.

i learned to over-focus on things i used to under-focus on or ignore: time, discipline, focus.

Nothing is the same as pre-1999, not even close.

Talk about joy and gratitude, wow!

Magnum Opus?

From a couple days ago. It’s still resonating.

Caution.

Here, in this brief moment lies an opportunity to think.

To self-reflect.

Are you ready for the next three questions?

Take a slow, deep breath.

Okay (are you sure you’re ready?), please begin.

What is your life’s work?

Why is it your life’s work?

Are you satisfied?
