It’s such an insignificant question isn’t it?

Apple iPhone 6 makes front page news

What do you get when you combine 9/11 and five days until Christmas?

It’s such an insignificant question isn’t it?

Who cares.

Sucking the marrow out of life is something that only happens in movies like this.

If we could live fully alive, what would that sound like, feel like, look like, taste like?

We poison our souls so slowly we never notice.

The anniversary of the most magnificent day in our life

How did we spend yesterday?

How often do we take inventory of the day before?

Yesterday, the 55th anniversary of that first breath… spent the day doing the normal things.

Simple things.

Routine things.

Joy-filled things.

Life-giving things.

Since (becoming a dad in) 2000 (age 41), just cannot fathom the idea of having to wait for a holiday, anniversary, milestone, etc to celebrate a single day.

Among other things, finished watching the two-hour Apple 2014 WWDC video.

The first three minutes are not available yet on You Tube, hence the 2013 version above.

Live like you mean it.

Today.

Or we could wait until tomorrow.

Your move.

Each day is a new opportunity to take positive action or to chicken out

Will we look back to the very first week of 2014 and think to ourselves, “Wow, I really surprised myself with how quickly I started taking small, calculated risks that normally I wouldn’t have.”

Taking action is the quickest way to positive, transformational new habits.

We know this.

Yesterday, January 5, purchased the smallest laptop possible, even though the 13″ screen on the other one was ‘bigger/better’.

Doesn’t sound like a big deal, but it was.

You know the feeling.

Wasting Your Life On…

Many Thought Steve Jobs Was Crazy
Many Thought Steve Jobs Was Crazy

Your time is limited, don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living the result of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition, they somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” – Steve Jobs
