Busy doesn’t care what you need

Without pausing a busy life, resolutions, their power, and a plan to commit, are ignored.

Winter Solstice 2018 means what to you?

Excuses
Can’t and won’t are not related. Not even close.

Winter Solstice 2018 means what to you?

Randomly, it means there are 10 days until New Year’s Eve – the biggest drinking day of the year.

Will you tip a glass of good tiding to ring in another year?

Secondly, there are four days until the biggest gift-giving day of the year.

My business and my life is anchored in .think .differently

Last night this thought:

i don’t challenge everyone to do something they can’t do, i challenge everyone to do something they are afraid to do.

It’s our classic battle between can’t change and won’t change.

The two are not the same, even though most of us lie to ourselves claiming they are.

If you knew you couldn’t fail

Sanibel sunrise
Two days in a row using a photo from a few minutes ago, rather than the usual “day before” photos.

Wouldn’t it be great to live in 2019 with a brand new approach to our life?

One that sounds like this…

If you knew you could not fail.

Here’s to the difficult, time-consuming, and inconvenient work it takes.

Be the person you dream of.

Seriously, why not?

Right?

The creative, generous, kind, and joyful person who only wants to do work that matters.

The type of person who says it doesn’t matter if the work is challenging and takes years, or even a lifetime.

And the kind of work that you can creatively have a blast at doing.

Be the person you dream of.

And remember, you don’t want to be thinking this…

A year from now i’ll wish i had started today.

64 days and 4 days equal New Years Day 2019

freedom myths
i’m not delusional, i’m an entrepreneur.

When we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change.  – Wayne Dyer

.think .differently

.do .differently

There are 64 days before New Years Day 2019 as i type this.

And of course, there are only four days as this goes live.

Pretty cool to experience these wonderful thoughts twice.

Once, during the creation of the post.

And again a second time two months later, never knowing what the morning’s posts will bring.

This is like seeing it for the first time because so much time has passed and so many (300) other posts have been created between then and now.

The first “sober” New Years Eve happened in 2001

Highline Trail
The best hike of my entire life happened August 31, 2016 with Dave Weir – Highline Trail in Glacier National Park. It happened 3 more times in 2017 on the same trail – with Family July 31, Howard Doran August 30, and solo September 29…pictured here.

September 29, 2017 the trail was deserted.

The first “sober” New Years Eve happened in 2001.

i intentionally picked December 30 to be my final drinking day, so that New Years Eve (the biggest drinking day in the world) would be the beginning of my resolve.

New Years Day is a terrible day to begin transformational change – it’s so unreliable.
