Flying high on a Mid Life Celebration?

Jumped out of the pool and ran up to the second floor roof (the water is still wavy)…

Space Shuttle retirement

The picture doesn’t do justice to what I saw, but at least shows it happened…

Three hours later, on the way to Hartford… NYC below…

Manhattan and Brooklyn
Manhattan and Brooklyn

Where will your travels take you today? Will the scenery change? Will anything special catch your attention? So easy to get stuck in a rut… our similarities are different. Carpe diem today.

Back on the road today. Delta. First class cabin. Same old, same old for a road warrior. The usual morning jog, usual quick cool-down dip in the pool… then the Space Shuttle flew loud and low, by our house, on the back of a 747 it’s way to LA.

What’s the difference between midlife and the iPad?

A great pet and the beach have a lot in common…

Oh, And One More Thing jeff noel, The Blog Whisperer Wants To Share

In 8 months, jeff noel tripled Twitter followers & Tweets. Pretty lucky, eh? (there’s a point to telling you this…)

Mid Life Celebration doesn’t show up when you Google jeff noel. Same for The Blog Whisperer. When you ask, “What would jeff noel do?”, know that I practice before the preaching.

So basically, I’ve set out to change that. Not just wish for it. What do I want from these results? Simply this, that you set out to change whatever you want to. Wish less, do more. Go.

Just returned from Detroit where I gave an all-day speech on world class business practices. Stopped at Golds Gym Orlando to work out.

Hulk Hogan was gracious to answer my question, “What one piece of advice would you give to anyone wanting to be world class?”

Hulk asked, “For what?” I said, “For anything. A trombone player, a wrestler, a professional speaker”.

He said without hesitation, “Consistency”.

Consistency.

Like I always say, the long way is the short cut – work harder than the others, focus, discipline, passion, purpose.

We already know these things. I ask a lot of people this question. Today they happened to be famous.
