Can’t help but think about how important confidence is, after watching the American Idol sing offs this year. What does that have to do with Summer? Everything man. Everything. As the clock ticks off each precious day, each precious week, each month, each season…

This summer season…what’s it gonna be? Another good summer, on a long list of good summers? Or, for whatever reasons, the best summer?

I anticipate June being very challenging. Full of opportunities to feel overwhelmed – the guilt from serious, hard work can be potentially depressing. Because it is, after all, the advent of “summer vacation”.

What if we saw June as an opportunity to break the traditional rules and love our hard work so differently that by the time July rolls around, we can’t believe how much we learned and how much fun we had.

Becoming an entrepreneur is about the scariest thing a person can ever do. In telling people I was getting an MBA, they asked, “From where?” I said, “From my LLC”. That’s nonsense, right? No accredited school. No official diploma. How can you call yourself an MBA?

To me, there are other ways to be a master at business administration. And if I have to explain it, you’re still playing by the rules.
