Couple of drops of moisture from a restaurant drinking glass. Who would notice? Who would care? Who would take a photo? Who would later decide to use it in a blog post?

When the bar is set high, failures are glaring.

When it’s set low, no one notices.

Think about where you set your bar for your daily attitude.

And ask yourself, “Is this my best self?”

Inspire yourself.

And be clear, concise (if possible), and compelling.

Why?

Because compelling and clarity feed organizational vibrancy.

You’ll lose your team if they aren’t compelled by the clarity of where you are heading.

And if you lose your team, this means you’ll also lose their teams.

And this repeats itself until it spreads contagiously to your frontline staff.

You’ll also lose me if you aren’t clear and compelling.

Make it so your team’s (and my) only reaction to what you’re saying is, “Wow, that’s incredible.”

September 29, 2017 the trail was deserted. It was amazingly different than every other time i’ve been on Highline Trail in Glacier National Park. PS. There where two hikers ahead of me, always within sight, but not too close to be crowded.

Is it impossible?
Can i be the change i wish to see in our world?
The critiques i easily muster against others are the perfect intensity and frequency to critique myself.
Anything less is a double standard. No?
