Day 6 Walt Disney World, mind

car dashboard
Where we are staying facilitates a late hotel departure. In other places inside Glacier, all parking spaces are gone before sunrise.

A 20-minute drive to our destination is remarkable and we love it. Not only did we get a parking space, we got an excellent parking space.

Nothing like a 10-mile, 1,600′ elevation-gain hike to make you feel vibrantly alive.

And then pile on the views, the wildlife, the solitude, the companionship.

The mind has no where to go but ‘grow’.

Day 5 Walt Disney World, mind

Another day. Another sunrise. Portrait perspective.

Happy present moment.

Funny thing about a growth mindset.

Turns out, for me at least, consistently practicing creative approaches to daily routine things is a double-edged sword.

One side you feel like nothing is happening. You know, try something, nothing changes.

The other side you feel like something new is happening but you don’t yet know what is changing.

Day 4 Walt Disney World, mind

Sunrise on the Lodge room wall. Usually not in bed when it happens.

Sunrise from our shared balcony.

Chronic mental adventures motive me to go big.

Day 3 Walt Disney World, mind

sunrise from hotel balcony
Sun rises behind the pine trees to the right. However, the skyline from our Lodge room balcony is (almost) equally as wonderful.

Making PB&J sandwiches for today’s hike.

Hiking to Two Medicine Lake’s north shore and taking the boat back. Then another mile walk back to the car. Two Medicine Lake is two miles long. All told, five miles. Mostly flat.

This month’s ‘unique’ blogging is driven to creatively discover a blogging (and life) breakthrough.

An example of ‘unique’…

Today on the blogging calendar is the third day back at home at Walt Disney World.

Yet the photos for the next week or so are still from Glacier.

And once home, decent chance i’ll still use Glacier stuff.

Time will tell.

Ps. This is a creative experiment to see what happens on my side. If you follow along, no need to try to follow along this month. It’s wonky. It may not make sense.

Intentionally enjoy the passage of time thoughtfully, purposefully, joyfully.

Why wouldn’t we?

Well, for starters, a busy life.

Then a decent list of health, financial, career issues.

And let’s not forget all the unanticipated situations life throws at us.
