Got Thanks?

Was gonna continuing posting about Father Son traditions, but last night read a relative’s email that challenged her Facebook friends:

“Every day until Thanksgiving, think of one thing that you are thankful for and post it under your status. The longer you do it, the harder it gets! If you think you can do it, repost this message as your status to invite others to the challenge:)”

Her challenge is very interesting and compels me to ask: “Can you do it? Can you write a weeks’ worth (seven) of things you are thankful for?”

Maybe you can. Hopefully you can.  But will you?

Because if you will start right now, and go through Thanksgiving, how cool would that be?  And then, do one more step – never stop.

  1. Same facebook challenge came to me about a week ago, followed directions to re-post and now everyday I write one and get to read about 4 -5 others. My facebook family is still quite small, so 4-5 is great. Actually even 1 would be great. Don’t think anyone would need to stop, it is not hard because everyday there is something to be thankful for if you just take the time to reflect. I can tell you already learned that years ago.

  2. Donna, I’m thankful that you follow MLC and comment regularly. Also thankful than we have so much to be thankful for.

Also thankful for all the followers who may never comment.

And thankful to wake up this morning. That’s huge! And yet, without a conscious awareness of this simple fact, we might miss one of our greatest blessings – LIFE!

    Carpe diem!
