Give me some good news, mind

Cool t-shirt. Great mantra.

Pink was on the Kelly Clarkson show singing a duet with Shoshana Bean. She was wearing a T-shirt that read, “Give me some good news.”

It made me think that would be a great question for me to ask frequently.

Or, for anyone to ask frequently for that manner.

Note: Had never heard of Shoshana Bean until now.

Ownership determines motivation, mind

Covid-19 became a ‘global potential panic event’ March, 2020. Photo: September 2020. Spent 50 days here. Solo. Family stayed home to feel safer. Was motivated to return for two weeks. Turned into seven weeks. Why? Assorted motivation and ownership. For me and my family.

Motivation’s secret is ownership.

When i pause to consider the statement, it makes perfect sense to me.

Therefore, the greater the ownership, the greater the motivation.

Take your thoughts for example.

You own:

Learning.

Acquiring.

Organizing.

Building.

Practicing.

Living.

More learning.

More of it all.

To each their own, mind

To each their own.

Live and let live.

Live and learn.

Dear Son, repetition is the mother of all learning.

Live and let live, mind

The profile, the place, the vibe.

Live and let live.

Kinda like surrendering.

People will think differently than you.

People will think better than you.

People will think worse than you.

People will like how you think.

People will dislike how you think.

Through it all, remember this mantra…

Live and let live.

Insight: This is what you want others to do for you as well.

Live and learn, mind

disney speaker Jeff Noel
Over-focus on the same things you used to under-focus on or ignore. Learning this insight rebooted my entire growth mindset.

Live and learn.

As simple as it gets.

What living and learning does is gets you ahead in a better way than you used to live.

The challenge is simply this – it leads you to new territory without a map.

Grow, learn, improve, repeat.

Feels like “suffer some growing pains joys” between improving and back again to growing.
