There’s something good about belonging to a tribe

Florida High School 3A Basketball final four
Today revolves around a special “first” for our 15-year old High School.

There’s something good about belonging to a tribe.

That sense of being part of something meaningful.

Acceptance.

Shared values and shared experiences.

Support.

Tonight, for the first time in our small School’s 15-year history, or Boys Basketball team has made it to States.

There is something electric in the air.

On April Fool’s Day 2009, jeff noel began writing five daily, differently-themed blogs (on five different sites). It was to be a 100-day self-imposed “writer’s bootcamp”, in preparation for writing his first book. He hasn’t missed a single day since.

This website is about our mental attitude. To easily and safely leave this site to read today’s post on jeff’s physical health website, click here.

Crazy how one day at a time adds up

Is social media really changing your world?

After nearly six years, Donna and jeff finally meet in person at Epcot yesterday, January 20, 2015.

What is remarkable about these two is that they have read every Mid Life Celebration post since the beginning. Well over 10,000 posts.

Every post is written to encourage (even antagonize) the reader to think differently. Deeper.

Thank you Donna Flanagin.

Tomorrow's A Big Day

Two quick items:

1. Over at jungle jeff the past few days, our Marketing Director has posted some intriguing results from this past quarter. It’s worth a look, mostly because the numbers sound inflated.

2. Guest Blogger Lorie Sheffer has written another insightful post for your mental and psychological stimulation. It’ll post tomorrow morning.

Thank you for being part of this Mid Life Celebration tribe.

Oh, and one more thing. We’re getting a puppy tomorrow.  🙂
