.do .differently

Brainstorming yesterday, May 14, 2019.
The original thought was, What would a slide look like in a speech where i gave the audience the essence, yet kept the slide simple?

What’s the bottom line when you .think .differently ?

.do .differently

The courage required to put action behind thoughts is what separates you from being a spectator in life or being a full-on participant.

All Souls Day 2018

florida bug
Yesterday. This beautiful creature landed on a branch next to me. Didn’t have to move an inch to get this photo.

Knowing stuff is easy.

Doing stuff is hard.

Deep down in our soul, we know this.

Be an example, not a warning.

The bridge between where you want to be and where you are now is

This is sorta like a math challenge, but different.

The bridge between where we want to be and where we are now is what we are doing today, this week and next.

It revolves around second chances.

But, there are hurdles…. excuses, regrets.

And sunshine… hope, opportunity.

And a catch (theres always a catch isn’t there?)… permission.

And sometimes, if we’re lucky, a bonus…. a wake up call.

And the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow… balance.

It’s a bridge not many of us pursue… second chances.

Wisdom is when we no longer wait for permission because we are now (finally) crystal clear who grants it.

Shift 4 Things

Shifted the focus to my business partner Saturday night…

A break from the book writing story, because, bottom line, when life throws a curve we need to shift our focus.

  1. Shift what we SAY
  2. Shift what we DO
  3. Shift what we THINK
  4. Shift what we FEEL

At least one, maybe more, of these must shift, to compensate for the challenge.

For me, it is all four.

Every situation, properly perceived, is an opportunity.
