Big rush on Facebook yesterday for Mother’s Day.

Does anyone else get a surreal feeling while on Facebook? Facebook is really getting weird for me. It runs hot and cold. People tend to share their very best and their very worst, with a little plain vanilla.

What about the women who will never be Mothers?
What about the women who used to be Mothers, but no longer are?
What about the midlifer’s who grew up without a Mother?
What about those with Mothers they aren’t close to?

Obviously if caring about what others did or thought was the driver, today wouldn’t mark the beginning of the seventh year.

Would have quit long ago. Might not have even made it to the original goal of 100 days.

Coming to the realization that only one person grants permission is one of the journey’s greatest blessings.

Do our Veterans deserve more than one day of acknowledgment? Yesterday was Veteran’s Day, as well as day two of retirement week two. Facebook gets flooded with gratitude and heart-felt sentiments for those who protected and are protecting our (the World’s) Freedom.

Most people are consciously thinking about our Veterans all day everyday. Right?
