There’s an interesting phenomenon occurring at the advent of an incredible or impossible milestone.

Impossible is nothing to the person with:

  • a purpose
  • a dream
  • determination

Impossible is nothing means little to most of us.

Yet now Son, you know someone who’s been there and done that.

And he’s six days away from April Fool’s day.

Dear Son, believe it or not, the past four days have been some of the most monumental days in our relationship.

How can so much happen in such a short time?

Why did it take so long or was it perfect timing?

Has this been the ultimate test of patience and payoff?

Time is the great equalizer – we all get 24 hours each day.

 

Do the other kids talk to their parents the way we talk?

No.

Do you think they wished they could?

No.

Huh?

They don’t care about this sort of stuff.

Years later when they get closer with their parents, they’ll wonder why they waited so long for it to be this good.

Seriously. Why wait?

Oh yeah, because we’re busy.
