Dear Son, what goes around comes around

We seen it on TV. A reputable person, say an elementary school teacher, being a jerk to someone undeserving. In public. It taints everything.

Dear Son, as we both witnessed the dialogue of the bitter man (a casual friend actually) hating Apple Genius employees (and his laptop), we came to a blinding flash of the obvious:

You get out of life what you put in.

While at the Genius bar at exactly the same time, unaware of our friend’s hatred, I told the Genius how much I trusted Apple to take care of me no matter what.

Then in less than a minute, we got an invaluable lesson.

Dear Son, attitude, quite frankly is everything. In our eight year journey to become parents, we spent our life savings. While we could be bitter or sad it’s gone, it was actually God’s blessing to provide it so it could be taken away. Imagine if we hadn’t had that resource.
