Post Op Day 1, mind

Optimism is a mindset.

Saying, “optimism is a mindset“ is a blinding flashlight of the obvious (BFO).

Saying, “doing what is a blinding flash of the obvious is hard” is also a BFO.

But these two BFOs should never stop you from making ‘the obvious’ your reality.

Here we go again. Call time is 9:00 AM. Arrived 8:21 AM. Second time’s a charm.

The fairness in life is that life is unfair to everyone.

i start today knowing i have a single priority today.

An unplanned test.

Nothing else matters until this is addressed.

Three weeks post eye surgery update.

Vision started noticeably improving after two weeks.

After three weeks (three days ago), getting same-day noticeable improvement from the morning to evening.

Late yesterday was the first time i noticed crispness or clarity. Up until last night, all vision and improvements have contained a fog or haze.

Looking forward to sunrise this morning to spend more time enjoying the gradual vision recovery (transformation).

Eye surgery update, mind

Three days ago, two weeks after surgery, a breakthrough in eye surgery recovery.

Awoke with some semblance of images. Beyond simply discerning light from dark.

This is what i and Dr. Kumar hoped for.

Yesterday it was ever so slightly better than the first breakthrough day.

Today, slightly better than yesterday.

The mind is a versatile organ.

The mind has the power to convince us whatever we’re thinking is true.

Couldn’t help but briefly think Dr. Kumar was/is handling me because he doesn’t want me to panic.

From the beginning, he said two to three weeks before i could fly again.

Last night the gas bubble disappeared and i removed the green medical bracelet.
