Aiming for less of everything

Post-it note on a water bottle
Aiming for less of most things. However, water consumption is not one of them. Cheryl added this “insider’s message” to my nightstand water bottle #2 this morning.

Finished yesterday’s posts with this sentiment…

“i feel a cosmic energy shift in my commitment to minimalism.”

“Note: i envision less of everything is more of everything. It sounds paradoxical. Which is in my wheelhouse. So that feels like money in the bank.”

Simple temperance

One of the first things i read this morning. This has been on my mind for decades.

How true is this for most of us?

We crowd our space with things and spend the rest of our lives waiting upon those things as if we are their servant.

Our things (our stuff) ask little, except:

  1. Do not get rid of me.
  2. Never stop worrying about what will happen if you discard me.
  3. Keep expanding the kingdom of things (stuff).

What’s in your wallet?

Home office desk
Simple. Artful. Challenging to do. More challenging to sustain. For a lifetime?

You know that CapitalOne commercial punchline, “What’s in your wallet?”

Let’s assume you know. But if you don’t know, it’s here.

Got the slogan in your head now. Perfect.

Next question (and read it like “What’s in your wallet?”)…

What’s in your drawer?

Your office desk drawer…and your brain’s ‘desk drawer’.
