Corporate Culture Architectural Blueprints from a lifetime at Disney

Disney corporate culture expert speaker
Just Google it.

An organization “addicted to urgency” shapes it’s culture by default. The “less expensive” goal is a culture by design.

Profoundly simple. Simply profound.

New speaking/advising website coming June 25, 2016 (25 days from today) – my speciality is corporate culture architecture – blueprints if you will.

On April Fool’s Day 2009, jeff noel began writing five daily, differently-themed blogs (on five different sites). It was to be a 100-day self-imposed “writer’s bootcamp”, in preparation for writing his first book. He hasn’t missed a single day since.

Heading to Kentucky for the night to address change

The iceberg of ignorance
Photo: LinkedIn update. Scary how true this is. Think undercover boss.

They say the only person who likes a change is a baby…

For phases of change:

  1. Storming
  2. Forming
  3. Norming
  4. Performing

Ain’t no skipping ahead. Growing joys never made it as a cliche, for obvious reasons.

Satisfied?

Is your culture worth defending?

Do others see you as a warning or an example?

Do you have a systematic way to uncover your blind spots?

Is profit the goal or the reward?

What are the four basics for world-class leadership?

Are the four basics something you’ve honed and live by, or are you embracing some theory from a leadership guru?

The content equivalent to “life savings”.

Granting access to my “life savings” at jeffnoel.com.

Might be one of the scariest things i’ve ever done with my business.

Should be a routine procedure for a WordPress expert.

It’s been awhile since i was nervous

Example of intentionality
Example of intentionality last night using a PBJ sandwich.

It’s been awhile since i was nervous.

Being the CEO comes with concerns about things most others leaders can dismiss.

The bottomline?

The CEO is the bottomline.

Practice what you preach.

More specifically, and with much greater difficulty, only preach what you practice.

There is no place for theory as CEO.

Your job is to lead everything and everyone to astonishing results.

Everyone can easily blame you for anything less than extraordinary.

And when extraordinary is achieved, no one cares if you are the CEO.

i love this opportunity to embrace a unique struggle few understand because for most, it’s only theory.
