Impossible is nothing to the person with these three free tools

Dear Son,

There’s an interesting phenomenon occurring at the advent of an incredible or impossible milestone.

Impossible is nothing to the person with:

  • a purpose
  • a dream
  • determination

Impossible is nothing means little to most of us.

Yet now Son, you know someone who’s been there and done that.

And he’s six days away from April Fool’s day.

What if there was less than a week left, then what?

Stephen Hawking quote about the Universe
Because there is a law such as love…

What if there was less than a week left (for something monumental), then what?

Dear Son, believe it or not, the past four days have been some of the most monumental days in our relationship.

How can so much happen in such a short time?

Why did it take so long or was it perfect timing?

Has this been the ultimate test of patience and payoff?

Our attitude toward relationships doesn’t have to wait to blossom

Clock ticking
Time is the great equalizer – we all get 24 hours each day.

Do the other kids talk to their parents the way we talk?

No.

Do you think they wished they could?

No.

Huh?

They don’t care about this sort of stuff.

Years later when they get closer with their parents, they’ll wonder why they waited so long for it to be this good.

Seriously. Why wait?

Oh yeah, because we’re busy.

His writing about second chances is so inconsequential to the world

Steve Jobs iPhone announcement speech
Who doesn’t love the crazy and misfit in the mirror?

This is so inconsequential to the world… April Fool’s Day 2009 began a 100-day challenge to write everyday.

Never intended for it to last five straight years… 1,825 consecutive days.

That’s just sick.

It’s kinda fun to do the impossible. -Walt Disney

PS. Some of the most powerful, most insightful, and most inspiring posts are two blogs over. If this blog is the only one you read, thank you. If you read the other four as well, thank you. Impressed with your investment.

Eight days until April Fool’s Day

Power of words
Never let our memories be bigger than our dreams

Eight days until April Fool’s Day. A day most of us will see come and go without fanfare.

Yet it’s a day for misfits and crazy people.

Like us.

To the very special group of crazies that not only know how to navigate all five blogs, but also read them – thank you.

What keeps you coming back?
