What are the odds we’ll get a lucky break today?

i don’t follow sports. Used to as a teen, but no longer.

i do make a conscious effort to watch as much Track & Field as possible every four years during the Summer Olympics.

Big events like last night’s World Series game 6 finish often happen after i’m asleep.

Cheryl just told me (5:45am) the Cubs hit a grand slam.

Would have been cooler if they trailed by 3 runs.

Oh well, it’s still cool because the win (even without the bases-loaded grand slam) forces game 7.

i might stay up to watch that one.

Everybody thinks they’re the good guy

Dear Son, you have heard me say that the three tools of my trade are:

  1. common sense
  2. paradox
  3. questions

Here is a woman who uses paradox and it stopped me in my tracks because of it’s power.

She revealed the paradox with a statement, “Everybody believes they are the good guy”.

Dreams, dreams, dreams

What if we spent as much effort (time, money, resources) as we invest in technology? What if we spent it on figuring out how to live unafraid of our wildest dreams

Midlife, entrepreneurial, digital insanity?

i question whether or not Facebook serves my attitude.

Facebook is almost like spam. There are so many things posted that i have no interest in.

i rarely post personal stuff because i really only want my family and closest friends to see it.

Been playing around with different settings to see if i can eliminate most of the unwanted messages. Meanwhile, i’ve already cut 157 connections – all of them people i call friends.

If this is confusing, remember that being friends isn’t reliant on being connected on Facebook.

Wisdom Book video Trailer

This Andrew Zuckerman video shares powerful, and diverse, perspectives on wisdom from many famous people. Ironically, it’s the same stuff non-famous people would say.

What follows at the next four posts today is a series of one sentence questions for each themed blog. Four different questions that famous and non-famous people should answer similarly.
