Everything is impossible

Mickey Mouse old time photo

(photo: Poster on Disney fanatic’s home wall. Technicolor didn’t exist until someone figured it out.)

Everything is impossible until the first person does it.

Impossible isn’t something no one’s ever done. Impossible is something you’ve never done.

Never been able to do a push up?

There’s an impossible goal. Do one pushup by 2016.

There’s something many people don’t now about me. A two sentence update can be found by clicking here.

Should we try it if the benefits could be staggering?

(photo: Six months is a long time. Imagine an entire year.)

You know the coolest thing about an intensely positive attitude?

You are ok doing the craziest experiments that:

  1. No one else is even thinking of doing.
  2. No one else would even dream of succeeding at it.

Twelve more days to complete one year of not using I, Me, my, or mine.

Not in:

  • Five blogs a day. And yes, that’s 1,865 posts.
  • Not in emails for Disney.
  • Not in emails for MLC.
  • Not in personal emails.
  • Not in a single social media update, reply, comment. Not one. For a year.

To be honest, it’s insane.

But some unexpected Magic happened.

Have you ever tried it? For a day? A week? Longer?

See how crazy it is.

The benefits are staggering.

First up was learning an invisible (unknown) definition of humility.

What’s it gonna be in 2015?

How many people do we know who have no desire to improve and harness the power of great habits?

Pretty close to zero. Improving is a survival instinct from the caveman days.

Personal Leadership 101:

Only two things needed for personal transformation:

  1. An impossible goal
  2. A reason bigger than yourself

Accept no substitutes.

PS. This doesn’t make sense until someone becomes desperate enough for the change they want (and deserve).

Twenty days to nothing is impossible?

George Cloney asks:

“What if there was a place, a secret place, were nothing was impossible…a miraculous place where you could actually change the world. You wanna go?”

What if you could go to a place where nothing is impossible.

Would you go?

Twenty days until everything changes here.

So weird the Disney email with the trailer above arrived yesterday.

So weird that after six years, the starting line is in view.

We should not think like this

proverb

Incredibly lofty doesn’t mean totally impossible.

The secret reality is that unless a goal has the magic to stir our soul – as in impossible – we will not dedicate ourselves to the effort required to conquer our impossible.

Live your life so that if anyone ever said anything bad about you, no one would believe it.
