What if you only had 10 years left to live?

Living like you were dying
From a High School classmate’s Facebook feed yesterday.

What if you only had 10 years left to live?

An article came my way via Facebook less than 24 hours ago.

The biggest regret most humans list?

Waiting for the moments to come that will change things.

And realizing they never come.

Yet…

Yet i submit they are always coming.

Every decision we make takes us closer to or farther from moments that change us.

Did yesterday change you in some way?

It should have, possibly more than once.

Many of us go decades and never feel this.

It always gets harder before it gets easier

Art of Disney store
Walking back from lunch yesterday, just wanted to see if there was anything new.

Art of Disney store
Lots of choices.

It always gets harder before it gets easier.

Embracing this is the best way i’ve found to keep going.

The classic, “This too shall pass.”

Being a business owner for eight years, the stakes are higher as word gets out. By the way, the first six years i was quietly building and intentionally not telling anyone. Not until i retired from Disney did i go public with my business. That was only 19 months ago.

Business books offer advice to help entrepreneurs, but there is something about real life experience books can’t even begin to explain.

Note to self: There are prudent legal issues that will need to be addressed as your business grows.

On April Fool’s Day 2009, jeff noel began writing five daily, differently-themed blogs (on five different sites). It was to be a 100-day self-imposed “writer’s bootcamp”, in preparation for writing his first book. He hasn’t missed a single day since.

Look yourself in the eye & answer yes to two questions

Look yourself in the eye & answer yes to two questions:

  1. I’m doing my best work every single day?
  2. I am satisfied?

Caution (and we all know this):

Waiting and doing nothing are the twin siblings of self destruction.

Overcoming the failure to start because of fear

Overcoming the failure to start because of fear…

Maybe someday i’ll use this website…www.ExcuseWhisperer.com

Perhaps it could become the eighth book on my list of books to write.

Sure, someday, right?

That’s what we always say, “Someday”.

Excuses

#Excuses

Nothing is easier in life than coming up with great reasons why something didn’t work out or why something will never work out.
