We did “Food For Families” every Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. For many years. A family tradition since before our son was born. We don’t do it anymore. Management and leadership changed and we fell away from it due to our ability to feel good about serving under the new structure and processes.

Mentally, i think every single day is Easter.

You can’t fathom this mentality unless you’re actually embracing it yourself.

Oncer you make Easter a daily habit, you are basking in the glory that HE is Risen.

Today is a good day for a Friday.

Especially a ‘Good’ Friday.

Today is Good Friday.

The day Christians remember when Jesus was crucified.

What is good about it?

Not until i became a parent did i 100% understand what it means to willingly die to save another’s life.

To mentally know about this concept and consciously agree it is noble, is one thing.

It’s entirely opposite, at a moment’s notice, to willingly sacrifice my life if it was the only thing that would save our son’s life.
