Brainstorming 101 and thinking inside the box

Disney creativity lesson commencing at Lake McDonald Lodge. Snack box easel holding our Disney Creativity template.
Replaced snack box with water bottle easel.
Used this exact same model (including the post-it layout) in the Madrid Disney Creativity speech.
He did all the writing and was a great collaborator.
Took some photos to use as examples of what i’d like him to capture when he’s in the photographer role. The picture is intriguing because of the wildlife.

This photo simply shows our progress as we work through six boxes of content.

Brainstorming 101 and thinking inside the box is maximized when a leader establishes an environment where ideas have no choice but to flourish. 

There is a Disney framework i use for creativity in my personal life. It’s the same architecture i use in my Disney speaking business. 

It’s simple to remember and simple to use. 

Simplicity and scalability is the key.

Yesterday at Theater Circo Price in Madrid i was the third speaker and the first speaker after the morning break.

Advantageous position (won’t belabor why, just trust me).

Speaking with simultaneous translation is like (car metaphor) having your mind on the gas peddle and your vocals on the brake peddle.

Son, challenging myself to do the same thing i always do in a way i rarely do, excites me.

Inhale creativity

Disney’s Stitch used creatively
For three weeks it has felt like this.

Inhale creativity was presented in the hotel room and a note was made.

Can’t recall where the phrase originated from.

A great reminder for writing things down.

And a great reminder for knowing your purpose.

My purpose is to teach.

Find a million ways to stay focused.

Inhaling creativity helps fuel the million ways.

Which wow do you have time to aim for?

Disney Creativity Speakers
Typhoon Lagoon Cast Member initiative. These hula-hoops could just lean up against the table, the fence, the pole, randomly stacked on the ground, or hung on a hook.

 

Prolific small “wows” have greater loyalty effect than a couple of big “wows”.

A Disney Water Park Cast Member places three hula-hoops on the ground in between activities.

PS. This also applies to where you place your thoughts and how you value them.
