Should we launch our lives in the direction of our wildest dreams?

jeff noel quote
Two out of three (quotes) ain’t bad (one is not original). Who cares, right?

There are amazingly inspiring people throughout history, but something is missing, even in a wonderfully captivating quote like this:

The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity. –Amelia Earhart

What’s missing?

Action.

Quotes from famous people are like a shot of whiskey.

Something gutsy and raw in the consuming.

The wonderful afterglow is pretty amazing.

The letdown from not being able to maintain and sustain that wonderful feeling is why we keep consuming quotes, yet few of us ever launch our lives in the direction of our wildest dreams.

Things begin to change when we begin to change.

Common sense, but not common. (quotable?)

Yes, some people will not like us for it

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust

When are we gonna finally live full on?

No more holding back on what we really want to do?

When?

Knowing we are going to die is the best incentive to start living full on – authentically.

Yes, some people will not like us for it.

And others will be cheering for us – and smiling – (and thinking, so glad she finally let go of her fear).

The older we get, the more authenticity appeals to us and feels uncompromisingly important.

And yet.

None of us will change if we aren’t ready. Or willing.

(we can be ready, but unwilling)

The only possible way this will work is if we discard the old rules.

Conformity. Compliance. Toleration. Yearning. Stalling.
