Behaviors

Behaviors.

Our actions, and inactions, stem from our thoughts.

Crazy how our mind drives our behaviors.

Our behaviors drive our habits.

Our habits drive our results.

Reflection

jeff noel quote
Notes to myself. Writing is a great compliment to and facilitator of reflection.

Reflection.

Pausing.

Thinking.

Learning.

Learning is the gift we receive from reflection.

Reflection is under-focused on, or ignored, by many.

Why?

Time.

As in not enough time to pause.

This becomes habitual.

Tragic.

Think about how often you watch: the sun rise, the clouds move through the sky, the sun set, the moon rise, the stars appear.

This is what leads to personal and organizational crisis.

Reflection is a superpower.

Mindset

growth potential
Nothing unlocks your potential for growth more than living each day to it’s fullest

Mindset.

Specifically, growth-mindset.

Growth-mindset intentionally over-focuses your thoughts into helpful and useful tools.

Continuously launch, learn, repeat, improve.

Growth-mindset intentionally over-focuses your thoughts into excuse slayers and victim-mentality slayers.

Vision, perseverance, grit, determination, creativity, fun.

Everything necessary to succeed at “impossible” things.

Growth-mindset molds every thought and action into a positive asset.

Negativity is nonexistent.

Growth is our only option, our only choice, our only result.

Learning

Learning.

We learn by observing and thinking.

Find a million ways to observe and think.

This is learning’s key.

Broad, deep, constant.

Blogging was a creative, useful way for me to practice writing and publishing.

It was a great thought. A nice idea.

However, the original vision didn’t take flight.

Why?

For starters it’s time consuming to pause your morning routine, sit down and stare at a keyboard and blank screen, and then write something, and hit publish before going on about your ‘normal’ morning routine.

Daily blogging is a habit that few have.

i certainly didn’t have the habit.

And it looked like, for many months, i never would.

Until one day…
