i am a (midlife) fool, plain and simple.

So on April Fool’s Day 2009, i began writing five daily, differently-themed blogs as part of a self-imposed 100-day writer’s bootcamp.

On day 101, i had the guilt-free option to stop.

i didn’t.

And havn’t missed a single day.

Ever.

At a loss to explain why, except maybe this, it has profoundly changed me.

This train of thought continues with “i am unhealthy” at the next Blog

Mid Life Celebration is about eliminating regrets

Midlife Celebration books
i wish i had written a book…etc

Mid Life Celebration is about eliminating regrets.

  • i wish i hadn’t spent so much time at the office.
  • i wish i would have lived authentically and remained true to myself.
  • i wish i hadn’t left so many feelings unexpressed.
  • i wish i had nurtured lifelong friendships.
  • i wish i would have used constant gratitude to be happier in life.

But today i am busy so tomorrow i will begin fixing these things.

Are mistakes really gifts in disguise?

Yes.

Success is built upon a foundation of failure.

Mid Life Celebration, and yesterday’s Leadership Keynote speech was fertilized with failure.

The long way is the short cut.

To be sure, our choice is habitual

Disney Speakers jeff noel
Change is in the air. Good change.

Criminal was my lifelong, general lack of intentionality in consciously and thoughtfully making wise, habitual choices.

Enter midlife…

Midlife presents us with two striking choices.

Life altering choices:

  1. Fear and doubt
  2. Courage and faith

Astonishing how fundamental these two choices are.

Criminal is our general lack of intentionality in consciously and thoughtfully making wise, habitual choices.

To be sure, our choice is habitual.

Turning my midlife crisis into a midlife celebration was the small change that changed everything.
