Should we start talking about our funerals?

tools for communication
Great communication tools. Photo of notes from a webinar i listened to yesterday. It seems these four tactics would make eulogies better, especially if the future holds many.

Should we start talking about our funerals?

With our families?

With our lifelong school friends?

With our closest work friends?

What if we did start talking about it?

What if we never do?

Slow and steady wins the race

hippie hikers
Whatever. What is a hippie anyway? Technically, i’m a short-haired hippie.

Slow and steady wins the race.

Each day, chip away at the things that weigh you down.

It’s literally an effort that knows no finish line.

Chip away.

Never tire.

Build space in your year for something amazing, especially as you age.

Why?

Because if you don’t, you may never.

Betting on lucky

Highline Trail
Hiking Glacier National Park.

Betting on lucky?

Most of us do.

But lucky never happens.

Well, it does happen…and something or someone goes viral.

But Facebook, Amazon, YouTube and Usain Bolt are a microscopic part of humanity and business.

And their luck was the result of a lifetime of focus and discipline.

The rest of us (all of us) need a much better plan than a lucky break.

Bank on a lifetime of focus and discipline.

Focus on the basics (mind, body, spirit, money, hq).

Discipline yourself to never waiver from that strategy.

Plan

#Plan

Try to imagine anything great ever being accomplished without a plan.

Be honest and clear with yourself that nothing ever turns out the way we plan.

So no excuse for not starting.

Your initial plan is simply a guide, not something etched in stone.

Go positive attitude, go.

The key to aging is to anticipate, then plan

The key to aging is to anticipate, then plan.

What will life be like 10, 20, 30, 40, even 50 years from now?

Do the things today that will solve for the normal and predictable aging issues.
