Do you remember turning 18?
Many doors open for you when you turn 18.
Many close.
As an official adult, concessions you get automatically as a teen, you are no longer entitled to.
You become the fulltime owner of your life.
You own every mistake.
You deserve every victory.
And all the stuff that falls in between is your responsibility to manage, sustain, and improve.

April Fools Day 2009 was 3,287 days ago.
No one cares.
i get it.
But it inspires the heck out of me.
And…
Back then, the notion of writing five daily blogs for 100 consecutive days was beyond impossible.
And yet…
And yet i believe if your goal isn’t impossible, you’re not reaching high enough.
Because of that belief, i thought there was a remote possibility i could do 100 days (and 500 posts).
But to think i could go nine consecutive years (3,287 days) without missing a single day is absurd.
Absurd.

Today, June 17, 2017 marks the 3,000th consecutive day.
On April Fools Day 2009, the 100-day challenge to write five daily, differently-themed blog posts for 100 consecutive days was an “impossible” goal.
Today is also Day 282 of a 365-day epic writing commitment:
Write seven Disney Business books in a single year.
It’s been challenging to do both.
As the finish line (Sept 9) looms for the Disney business books, i’m ever closer to pausing the daily blogging.
One month ago i felt fairly certain that today would be the final Summer blogging day.
So torn.
Blogging occupies two hours of every day.
The Disney book writing would require at least two hours every day.
Fingers crossed i do what i need to do tomorrow.
