Trying to find an image for brain/mind. The post-it note was an easy way to add the edit.

The early days of Mid Life Celebration…yesterday, i stumbled upon these crayon sketches and handmade business card ideas from December 2008 and January 2009.

Today, March 10, 2019, on this “Spring Forward” clock change morning, it’s helpful for this moment of pause to see what the dream seed looked like a decade ago.

PS. i coined the phrase Mid Life Celebration somewhere around 2001, less than a year after becoming a dad. Officially incorporated the LLC January 1, 2009.

Life-giving view every morning

dawn from home office window
Even when traveling, i awake at 5AM to begin writing, and always open the hotel room curtains to watch darkness turn to sunrise. Photo: 5 minutes ago at home.

Life-giving view every morning.

Watching darkness slowly turn to sunrise every morning for a decade has changed the way i see the value of life, a single day at a time.

It seems so insignificant.

But actually doing it reveals it’s magnificent significance.

So much to say, so little time

Disney Business Books Author
A busy and ambitious schedule has pushed book writing to the side. It’s possible to reverse this, but not sure when.

So much to say, so little time.

The story of our lives, right?

Who’s got time to do everything we think we should do?

Who’s got time to do everything we think we want to do?

Every morning i wake up with two simple goals – to save the world and to savor the world.

This makes it hard to plan the day.

Risk like you mean it.

Have you read Mid Life Celebration?

As a slow reader, it takes me about 75 minutes total.

Faster readers can do it in one hour.

When was the last time you read an entire book in an hour?

At last count (not including all the reads before it was published), i’ve read it 31 times.

At $4.99, the electronic version on Amazon is yours right now.
