One of the easiest ways to think about life balance:

Life is simply a never ending balance of learning what to hold on to and what to let go of.

The art of letting go and holding on to the best and worst of Life’s Big Choices.

An art we must try to learn on our own. An art with few (sadly) skilled artists.

And because it’s rare, we perpetuate (sadly again) it’s elusiveness.

To tackle today in a balanced way, I love jumping from mind (this blog) to body (this blog).

The beauty of life is it’s diversity

The beauty of life is it’s diversity. For example, even the fundamental stages of life, are diverse:

  • birth
  • infancy
  • childhood
  • puberty
  • adolescence
  • young adulthood
  • midlife
  • old age
  • death

Perhaps the biggest misunderstanding in life is to…

Inspiring tombstone message
Life is not a dress rehearsal… live like we mean it.

Perhaps the biggest misunderstanding in life is to, um, well… basically…

To fear death is to misunderstand life.

What do the hardest years of our life eventually become?

my Twitter feed coincidently speaks to the struggle (and joy) commonly know as life

Mid Life Celebrations tag line:

ReThink – RePrioritize – ReCommit

The ReThink part is in harmony with Freud’s thought:

One day in retrospect the years of struggle will strike you as the most beautiful. – Sigmund Freud

Flying the friendly skies as time passes by

faith, hope, and love?
faith, hope, and love?

Thanks for the first class upgrade Delta. Harrisburg, Pennsylvania by 4pm. So what, right? Exactly.

The days go by, one after the other. So do the years. And that’s if we’re lucky.

A class mate, Jim Silcox, never saw our 1977 High School graduation.

Another classmate, Mitch Stambaugh, his son went away, to protect our Country’s freedom… and paid the ultimate price two months ago. Cameron will never see his Dad again, nor Mitch his son.

Today’s story continues here at Taking the next two days off, on purpose.
