To appreciate life do this

To appreciate life, contemplate death.

Not in a morbid or wishful way, but in a way that makes today, right now, seem like a precious gift – to be unwrapped and enjoyed.

And every day is a new gift. A new gift to be unwrapped and enjoyed.

Santa sighting near Disney
Yesterday near Disney University.

Christmas 2018, thank you for allowing me the privilege to be with you today.

Ten years ago (2008) when i had a crazy dream/plan to live as if i had 10 years left to live is now just under six months to completion.

Should we start talking about our funerals?

tools for communication
Great communication tools. Photo of notes from a webinar i listened to yesterday. It seems these four tactics would make eulogies better, especially if the future holds many.

Should we start talking about our funerals?

With our families?

With our lifelong school friends?

With our closest work friends?

What if we did start talking about it?

What if we never do?

Crystalized intelligence – all bluffs will be called

wisdom
All bluffs would be called.

The years after we retire, usually at age 65, are called the golden years.

For a reason.

Aging comes with benefits.

Most importantly, we’re good at using what we’ve learned.

Call this crystallized intelligence.

Clarity.

It’s like compound interest, for wisdom.

All Saints Day (iPad Pro homework video)

Disney Speakers
Last night (in real time) New Years Eve 2018. Happy 2019 this morning.

Is this my final All Saints Day?

If it is, i’m glad i had 59 of them.

If it isn’t, i’m already • rethinking “homework”.

Supposing the new iPad Pro will be key.
