Two funny things about the way jeff noel blogs that most don’t care about.

  1. he writes in real time, but ahead
  2. writes five daily, differently-themed blogs

This matters to almost no one, yet I do it anyway. Weird.

Inspiring?

Lonely.

Exciting.

Potential game-changer?

Time will tell.

PS. It’s been an absolute game-changer for the author. Completely changed the way each day is thought of, attacked, enjoyed, and savored.

Is it really possible to control our attitude?

positive mental attitude (Bourbon Street)

Is it really possible to control our attitude? Because there are many arguing no. Cognitive disabilities are just that, disabilities. And disabilities are meant to be overcome. Not in the scientific removal, but in the psychological adjustment to living with it.

Diet, exercise, therapy, reading, meditating, medication, rest, support, non-traditional applications – these are all part of a solution that may not be perfect, but certainly better than doing nothing.

What is a Christmas Eve type of attitude?

Chesapeake Bay?
Chesapeake Bay?

Today’s five posts about Christmas Eve were written 95 days ago, at 35k feet. Who cares, right? Exactly. Midlife should make us bolder, rather than worry whether others approve. I experiment anyway.

What’s some stupid ridiculous thing you’re doing that no one cares about? In spite of your fear, potential humiliation embarrassment, pursue your art anyway. Because…

Time waits for no one. The big lesson we never learn until it’s too late is tomorrow never guarantees there will be a better opportunity than right here, right now.

Attitude, truly, is everything. MLC’s wish for you tonight is time for reflection on what tomorrow (your attitude) will bring. Merry Christmas.

What is your mental responsibility today?

Boomers, are you all in today?

aging

What is your mental responsibility today? In our 20’s and 30’s, this question only surfaced now and then. As we age, and especially in our 40’s there appears a mental gravitational pull to be more present, more in the moment.

In our 50’s, mental responsibility should surround us like oxygen. Sometimes, our feet aren’t touching the ground it’s so glorious.

Insight: How you approach your day is entirely up to you.
