Blogging is fun

fear quote
This is an interesting thought.

Few things give me as much joy and inspiration as daily blogging.

Blogging is fun.

Hiking is fun.

Surrendering is fun.

Creative risk-taking is fun.

Hierarchical priorities are fun.

Beware of negativity

Beware of…

Negativity.

Procrastination.

Hype.

Greed.

Doubt.

Knowing what to avoid is as important as knowing what to chase.

Addiction opportunities

Screen shot of an email
Addicted to thinking. Addicted to ideas. Almost daily i’ll think of an idea and then email myself so i don’t forget it. That’s how i write it down.

Addiction opportunities.

Addiction opportunities stem from .thinking .differently

Disney taught me to think like Walt Disney thinks.

For four decades, i think like Disney thinks.

If you can learn to think like i think, you’ll learn to think like Disney thinks.

If you can learn to think like Disney thinks, you’ll learn to see what Disney sees.

If you can learn to see what Disney sees, you’ll learn to do what Disney does.

Creative paradise

disney university
Wasn’t planning to walk here. It just happened.

Disney is a creative paradise.

How can it not be, right?

And then i look in the mirror (like we all do) and ask (like we all do), am i a creative paradise?

Live and let live, mind

If Disney Ran Your Life podcast
An episode recorded every week (on average) for two years…100 episodes about Personal Vibrancy, including an entire season on Mental Vibrancy.

Let people think what they want to think.

A mentally thoughtful person has been on a long, lonely, invisible journey.

How do i know?

To ‘master’ anything, my experience says:

  1. The long way is the short cut.
  2. No one sees all your behind the scenes work.
  3. No one sees your failures.
  4. No one understands your motives.

Few will notice your thoughtful consistency once you pass the threshold from sometimes being thoughtful to often being thoughtful.

And then the dramatic leap to most of the time, and finally, potentially, to all the time.
