Why are we here?

There are varying degrees of belief, focus, commitment, and creative effort.

This year’s class (photo above) is 60% smaller than last year’s.

A once in a lifetime opportunity?

The photo is day two of the 2013-14 school year.

The book I promised to write 34 years ago for my children is much closer to reality.

Two people besides myself have read Mid Life Celebration, the book.

Neither raved.

Polite comments, but no wow.

This is quite the opposite when I read it.

It completely inspires me.

Completely.

It’s two against one.

Should I give up?

Signing a book publishing contract is cool and weird simultaneously.

Cool because it’s signed – this is a big deal if it’s never been done before.

Weird because reality smacks you in the face when all along you thought you were friends.

Reality begs, “What do you want people to feel when they finish reading?”:

Something so unexpected, so inexplicable that we are in awe of what just happened

Similar to a wakeup call, but less severe.

And friendlier.

PS. And that they are willing, even eager, to hear more in the next book.
